World of Warcraft Leveling
By Dennis Sedov
Once you’ve spend those hours setting up your game installation and created a character - you’re on level one. I assume that you play human character and the very first place you’ll start is Elwynn Forest in the North Shire Glade. To start with familiarize yourself with this area first. There are a few quests that you can pick on killing the wolves. You’ll notice that there are a lot of wolves running around the area.Keep killing wolves right till you finish the quest. Keep on grinding them till you're at level 3. That was not hard, was it? Once you’ve reached level three, it’s a good time to repair any damaged items and equip your self with some new armor, which can be bought from vendors next to the Church building. That'll help you on further in the game. Repearing your armor and weapon is very important. If you have damaged items on you, which you eventually will while completing quests, you get penalized with your character's stats. While in combat, you'll notice that it gets harder to grind. This can be due to your stats being affected by all those damaged items you're wearing.First quest is awaiting for you now. Pick up A Threat Within quests and then do the follow-up quest called "Kobold Camp Cleanup". These simple starter quests will get you to understand WoW questing system. Getting all your quests done has several important benifits. At first you gather some experience points that are required to get to the next level. Notice that to reach next level you need some XP. Money is another bonus you get from questing. Money is needed to repair items and buy new goods. After you’ve completed these quests, you’ll be ready to take on two more quests, Eagen Peltskinner and Wolves Across the Border. You're ready for your next level now. To get to level four, you may need to grind some more wolves until you have picked up 8 Though Wolf Meat items. You can also grind Kobold’s Vermins to get to level four. After some heavy mob grinding all your items become damaged. Repair them proptly and don't forget to do so. Otherwise it will slow down your leveling process. Once you’re there, you’ll need to turn in your quests and then take the next one that is offered to you. Often it's a pity to turn in the quest and have some XP points left untill the next level. To quickly level up to five, grind the Kobold Workers in the area. You get some loot items after grinding, so don't forget to pick them up. Those items can be sold to a vendor for a small amount, but in return those money will help you repair your character's items. The next seven quest you'll get will jump you to the 7th level upon completion. This is not hard at all, isn't it. The more you play World of Warcraft, the harder it is to get XP till you level. Doing these quests will be easy and will not take much of your personal time. It’s a good idea to grind whenever you can to help you move up even faster. It is easy, because every time you take on the next quest, you'll have to run to some area. So don't miss any grinding apportunity while you go to your next journey. Level seven to thirty is quite easy. Simply take all the quests that are offered to you and turn them in to get the follow-ups. You will always be directed to new questing zones, becuase of the way WoW is set up. You can earn more XP with the help of grinding. But remember one small thing - leveling with quests is always faster then by grinding. Untill you level up to about 60, conceptrating on doing quests will yield more xp points for your character. To read the complete guide go to our WoW Leveling Guide Page. |
